OBSESSION AND ABANDONMENT

“On the other hand, if the impression of an action is suggested by the effect of the light, then nobody can go wrong; light becomes the artistic form of the action, and the observer will contemplate that light as art.”

Frontiers

There is a separation that the artist faces in clandestinity.
A sort of disconnection between two expressive realms: one pertains to the birth of the work, where shapes and colours struggle with each other to create conceptual and visual structures; the other involves the artist representing parts of herself among these elements, covering them with additional shapes and colours that strive to expand so that they remain visible on the canvas.
The demarcation line intensifies the artistic message through a total absence of colours and shapes as the synthesis of the aesthetic language gives birth to variable imaginary geometries.
The artist's relationship with her subjects often lies on the border between obsession and abandonment.
